The challenge of this website is to receive what you hear yet to prove it. In today's society as well as others, we do not prove truth. God is not ashamed of you testing His scriptures. Hebrews 11:6 says, "God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him." Jesus said about the religious leaders and people who follow with out understanding, as the blind leading the blind and both falling into a pit. It is important to not be the blind one following the blind leader. We need to prove the doctrines and teaching of the church according to scripture. Let us come before God in boldness to ask God for wisdom who gives it liberally to those who ask. So enjoy the search and press on towards the goal which God has called you heavenward in Christ Jesus.
The Bible is the greatest book in the world to read. I love coming to the scriptures everyday and hearing the Spirit of God speak to me to encourage and correct me as I walk with Jesus. (Hebrews 1:1-2) God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; (NKJV) What can I say, now we can hear from Jesus by the Holy Spirit, as Moses prayed all would be filled with the Holy Spirit in Numbers 11:29. Living in the law we must hear from the prophets, but now living by grace we can hear and learn from Jesus Christ our Savior and the Holy Spirit leading us into all Truth (John 16). (Romans 10:17) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (NKJV)
What a privilege and joy it is to have the scriptures before us to examine and test our lives. It interest me that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV) and God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) but we must believe for without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is.
I believe as Jesus said, if we become His disciples and abide in His Word, we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. (John 8)
What is our Purpose
The purpose of Truth Believed is to give you information concerning the scriptures and the times we live. We are living in a time which the Bible specifically speaks about as the Last Days before the Great Tribulation. Here, we are to give you information or answer questions which you may have concerning Christianity, your growth in Jesus Christ and how your role as a Christian affects the world.
